There has long been talk about a new version of Marvel’s famous comic book The Fantastic Four . And we’ll probably see this movie earlier than expected. According to rumors, the premiere of the new version will be in 2022, and director will be Ant-Man’s creator Peyton Reed.
A total of three Fantastic Four movies were created under Fox’s umbrella. And since Disney is already the owner of the studio, the assumptions began when we would see a new version of the four iconic superheroes. Marvel’s CEO Kevin Feige had said we would have to wait at least five years before seeing another hit with some of the characters he had so far depicted in Fox’s films.
According to unconfirmed information, the Fantastic Four project is in an advanced phase. The action in the new film will develop in the 1960s, and Reed, who has a strong desire to take up the project, will sit in the director’s chair. For now that’s all, and since the premiere is scheduled around 2022, we assume we’ll learn more details soon.
It will be curious to know what future stars will play Reed Richards, Johnny and Sue Storm, as well as Ben Grimm, better known as the Thing. Fans have long been waiting to see them in their full glory on the big screen. Josh Trank was the director of the latest film for the four of 2015, which was a complete disappointment.
Along with Marvel’s hits, and especially the phenomenal success of “Avengers: Engame”, maybe now is the time for a new adaptation of the Fantastic Four. We hope is to learn more about the project from Kevin Feige himself this summer.
